Returner's Retreats

After running our retreats for a while we noticed participants returning to work with us time and again, and realised there was a space to create a whole new experience for people who have already walked through the threshold and want to deepen in the work.
With this in mind we designed an experience that supports participants to reflect on their first journey with us and the time since, what has changed and grown in their lives, as well as areas they might still feel unable to be their whole selves and live their potential. The content of the retreat is slightly more advanced, provoking deeper inquiry and shadow work. At the same time there is an ease of familiarity in the group from the start, having all gone on a similar journey before, that creates both a lightness and joyfulness as well as mutual companionship and support to go deeper.

Having done the harvesting from the previous experience, participants go back to the psychedelic space with fresh intention and awareness to explore further. Afterwards we support participants in designing their own map of integration, weaving the practices they’ve developed and strengthening them.
This retreat is only available to those who have already attended a prior retreat with us. If you have attended a retreat with us before, but are nonetheless unsure whether to go on a Returner’s Retreat or a regular retreat, contact Leonie@alalaho.com with any questions you might have.
“I got a new set of intense experiences from the ceremony itself, which will take more time to process. Broadly speaking, they relate to being willing to take the risk to deeply connect with another.
I learned how much I have already changed and integrated new experiences and attitudes since my first retreat. It was a healthy exercise in noticing and acknowledging (or having acknowledged by others) the cumulative effect of the gradual, daily changes which I have been making but that are easily overlooked.
Finally, even without the ceremony, I learned so much again simply from being in the company of fellow participants, facilitators and volunteers.”
